IFOAM Delegation Visits Institute

[May 6, 2024] - The institute had the pleasure of hosting a delegation comprising officials from IFOAM - Organics International and its Asian affiliate, alongside youth representatives from the organic industry, for a dynamic exchange. The visit showcased our commitment to fostering collaboration within the organic sector.

Delegates were provided with a comprehensive tour, including visits to laboratories for sensory evaluation, detection of pesticide residues, and pest prevention, as well as the showrooms of the institute and the Longguan Company, offering a firsthand look at our research and innovation efforts. Throughout the visit, engaging discussions took place between delegates and our scientists, covering topics such as innovative technologies for pest and disease prevention, organic certification, and the development of the organic tea industry.

The exchange not only shows the institute’s commitment to advancing organic research but also highlighted the importance of global partnerships in addressing shared challenges and driving innovation in the organic industry.
