Research on Pesticides Residue in Tea

    TRI was the first in China to carry out methodological studies on the analysis of pesticide residue and the dynamics of pesticides degradation in the tea gardens. Forecasting models were constructed to predict pesticides residue levels in tea plants. Seventeen national standards for rational application of pesticides in tea gardens were formulated by TRI and officially issued. The research achievements in this aspect were awarded three times the Prizes for the Advancement of Science and Technology by the State and the Ministry of Agriculture.
