Technology for the Production of No-pollution and Organic Teas

    Technological packages of environmental requirements, farming and processing of no-pollution and organic teas were developed and formulated as a series of standards or guidelines officially issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. The technological packages were applied in over 33,000 ha tea gardens under no-pollution management and 13,000 ha under organic management, respectively. The amounts of chemical pesticides used in no-pollution tea system was reduced by 20-50%, leading to significant decrease of pesticides residue in tea.
