TRI is pleased to share the recent participation at the International Tea Day celebration held in Beijing on 18th May by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (UN FAO) and the UN Postal Administration (UNPA).
Opened by Mr. Atul Khare, Under-Secretary-General of the UN, Mr. Carlos Watson, FAO Representative to China and DPR Korea, and Mr. Ni Hongxing, Counsel (DG Level), Department of International Cooperation of MARA, the event brought together esteemed tea industry professionals, policymakers, and researchers to commemorate this global observance and discuss the latest advancements in tea science, sustainable practices, and culture promotion. The event marked a significant milestone with the launch of the United Nations commemorative stamps for International Tea Day.
